  • The highlighted text is sent to our backend server (`http://103.133.224.14:8000`) for processing. This data is processed anonymously and is not linked to any of your personal identifying information.
  • The extension also communicates with AnkiConnect, a local API running on your computer (`http://localhost:8765`), to add flashcards to your personal Anki collection. This communication is entirely local and does not involve our server.
• Data Storage:
  • On Your Browser: The extension uses Chrome's local storage (`chrome.storage.local`) and sync storage (`chrome.storage.sync`) to store user settings (e.g., AnkiConnect URL, LLM preferences) and temporary data (e.g., flashcard content). This data is for your use only and is not shared with us.
  • On Our Server: Our server employs a caching mechanism to store generated flashcards. The sole purpose is to improve response times for similar queries in the future. The cached data does not contain any user-identifying information.

We strictly adhere to the following principles:
